Paul D. Jones is a British theologian and Assistant Professor of Western Religious Thought in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Virginia. He has a BA from the University of Oxford and an MDiv and PhD from Harvard University where he studied under Ronald Thiemann. Jones' dissertation, "The Humanity of Christ: Christology in Karl Barth’s Church Dogmatics", was published with T&T Clark in 2008 and John Webster has noted that it "is one of the very best studies of Barth to appear in recent years, and one which promises to set the pace for future reflection on Barth's understanding of the person of Christ."
