Thomas Schreiner (b. 1954), a conservative evangelical theologian, has been professor of New Testament Interpretation at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky since 1997. He previously served 11 years on the faculty at Bethel Theological Seminary, and also taught New Testament at Azusa Pacific University. Schreiner received a B.S. from Western Oregon University, an M.Div. and Th.M. from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, and his Ph.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Schreiner is an expert on Pauline theology, and has published several books on the subject, including Interpreting the Pauline Epistles (1990), The Law and Its Fulfilment: a Pauline Theology of Law (1993), Paul, Apostle of God's Glory in Christ: A Pauline Theology (2001), and a helpful "Commentary on Romans" in the Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament series (1998).
